The philosophy behind Go
Go reflects the real travel experiences and preferences of young people to get off the beaten track, away from the pre-packaged tours, to see where we end up. Go is not interested in mainstream tourist attractions. It’s not about the hotels or restaurants, but rather the people, the place and, most of all, the feeling. Go is about real experiences. It’s obscure train stations in Germany, it’s the best bar you’ve ever been to down a back alley in Spain, it’s the place where the sea meets the sky in the Pacific, it’s the night-before-leaving buzz that keeps you up longer than you wanted. But most of all, Go is yours; the experiences, the photos, the memories.
Go began as a zine, then became a Vibewire print project, and is currently an independent, online travel magazine/blog.
Past and present Go collaborators include: Lisa Pham, Emily Laidlaw, Liz Webber, Rachel Hills, Tom Dawkins, Sarah Jansen, Elliott Bledsoe, Anne Powell, Lisa Dempster, Jason Lingard, Liesel Rickarby, Ella Mudie, Kirsten Cunningham, Inna Tsyrlin and Chloe Walker.
